The common thread

Every provider uses the same account boundary and approval model, even when the advertising API exposes different operations.

ConnectSign in with the ad platform and select one account.
ReadAsk questions using bounded reporting and entity tools.
ProposePreview the exact account, object, field, and new value.
ConfirmExecute one unexpired receipt with an explicit confirmation.
VerifyRead the object again and return the state after the change.

Google55 tools

Search and Performance Max creation, intelligence and control

Best for Keyword Planner research, Search and PMax reporting, deterministic optimization, paused campaign creation, and controlled management of existing campaigns and assets.

  • Complete paused Search and Performance Max creation
  • Quality Score, search terms, keyword forecasts and bounded GAQL
  • Wasted-spend, search-intent, copy, keyword-portfolio and ROAS analysis
  • In-place RSA edits plus keyword, label and negative management
  • Campaign bidding changes including target CPA and target ROAS
  • PMax asset groups, assets, placements, search themes and audience signals
  • Custom audience definitions plus existing user-list targeting
  • No customer-data list ingestion, Shopping-feed, or Merchant Center management
Meta12 tools

Deep entity reads and delivery controls

Best for examining Facebook and Instagram campaigns, ad sets, ads, creative, targeting, and performance, then controlling status and budget.

  • Campaign creation is a paused shell
  • Wasted spend by campaign, ad set, or ad
  • Placement, device, geography, age, and gender breakdown analysis
  • Status changes cover campaign, ad set, and ad
  • Budget changes cover campaign or ad set ownership
  • No ad set, ad, or creative creation
LinkedIn13 tools

Draft campaign setup and hierarchy control

Best for account reporting, reviewing campaign groups and creatives, and creating a non-serving campaign group plus targeted campaign.

  • Creation stops before creative
  • Wasted-spend analysis across group, campaign, or creative
  • Creative engagement and conversion-efficiency diagnostics
  • Status covers group, campaign, and creative with lifecycle preflight
  • Campaign archive is supported; delete is not
  • Safe budget-test discovery requires a paused campaign and paused parent group
  • Budget increases are blocked unless the hierarchy cannot deliver
  • No creative upload or bid change
TikTok19 tools

The broadest optimization write surface

Best for multi-level reporting, threshold-based recommendations, and operating existing campaign, ad-group, and ad delivery.

  • Campaign planning is read only
  • Wasted spend by campaign, ad group, or ad
  • Creative CTR, conversion, and six-second retention analysis
  • Campaign rename, budget, status, and delete
  • Ad-group budget, bid, and conversion bid
  • No campaign, ad-group, ad, or creative creation

A write is never just a chat reply.

The model can call proposal tools freely. The mutation tool only accepts a current receipt after you approve the exact change.

  1. Read current stateMemorised fetches the selected object and current value.
  2. Create a proposalThe response shows the provider, account, object, before state, and proposed state.
  3. Ask for approvalThe AI presents the receipt without changing the ad account.
  4. Execute onceExact confirmation atomically consumes the durable receipt. It cannot be replayed, even after a server restart.
  5. Verify the resultMemorised reads back the provider state and returns it with the receipt.

Common questions

How to read the matrix and what to expect in conversation.

Why does one platform support an operation that another does not?

Memorised exposes deliberately bounded tools, not a generic pass-through to each provider API. A capability is added only when its inputs, initial serving state, approval preview, and verification can be made clear.

What does limited creation mean?

Google creates a complete paused Search or Performance Max campaign. Meta creates only a paused campaign shell. LinkedIn creates a draft campaign group and campaign, but no creative. TikTok currently validates a plan without creating anything.

Can the AI make a change without asking me?

No. Write tools are split into proposal and confirmation. The confirmation tool requires the exact word CONFIRM, a valid unexpired receipt, and unchanged provider state.

Does “No” mean the ad platform cannot do it?

No. It means the current Memorised MCP has no public tool for that operation. The underlying API may support it, but the AI cannot reach it through this server.

Are recommendations the same on every platform?

No. Each platform now has deterministic wasted-spend diagnostics, but the native evidence differs. Google analyzes literal search queries and keywords; Meta analyzes entities and delivery breakdowns; LinkedIn analyzes campaign and creative efficiency; TikTok adds video-retention signals. Google also includes keyword, copy, and ROAS allocation workflows.

Do external AI clients get different tools?

No. Memorised chat and authenticated external MCP clients use the same registered tool surface and the same per-user ad account connections.

Test the real boundary.

Connect an account, begin with a read-only question, then ask for a proposal to see the approval flow.
